marine south eastMarine South East is the regional marine initiative of the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) developed to address the needs of the marine sector in the South East region. Through the marenet iniatative, Marine South East run various events that are  specific to the marine industry in the region.

Business Link provide access, advice and support to start a new business or maintain and grow and existing one.
Business Link in the South East, deliver services through providers in Berkshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Kent, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Sussex

To help both companies and employees get the training they need, the Learning and Skills Council (LSC)  launched Train to Gain, a  service aimed at helping businesses improve their productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that staff have the right skills to do the best job. UK Trade & Investment is the Government organisation that helps businesses to trade overseas.  It provides essential export advice and expertise, through a network of locally based International Trade Advisers and Trade Development Officers at British embassies, consulates and High Commissions worldwide.

Finance South East is a regional funding organisation, backed by SEEDA and privately governed.  With access to a breadth of public and private resources, FSE specialises in the identification, funding and development of ambitious, high potential growth businesses.

UK Trade & Investment South East is running a series of FREE events to help companies beat the current global economic downturn.  There are numerous expert support organisations that companies can turn to in tough economic times, but why waste valuable time when you can find their key 'top tips' in one convenient location.

Portsmouth Small Business Loan

This is part of a wider package of small business support measures to help Portsmouth based companies grow and develop during the current economic downturn. The Council has committed £250,000 to the PRLF and is now offering the Portsmouth Small Business Loan (PSB loan) to small businesses in the city seeking to expand.

Funding for companies looking to develop business leadership skills

Through its Leadership & Management programme, Train to Gain is offering owner managers and company directors the opportunity to apply for funding to help develop business leadership skills.
