The Regional
Development Agency for the South East is SEEDA, they are able to provide
regional advice, funding and grants.
Marine South East is the regional marine initiative of the
South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) developed to
address the needs of the marine sector in the South East region.
Through the marenet iniatative, Marine South East run
various events that are specific to the marine industry in
the region.

start a new business or maintain and grow and existing

Gain, a service aimed at helping businesses improve their
productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that staff have the

UK Trade & Investment is
the Government organisation that helps businesses to trade
overseas. It provides essential export advice and
expertise, through a network of locally based International Trade
Advisers and Trade Development Officers at British embassies,
consulates and High Commissions worldwide.

Portsmouth Small
Business Loan
This is part of a wider
package of small business support measures to help Portsmouth based
companies grow and develop during the current economic downturn.
The Council has committed £250,000 to the PRLF and is now offering
the Portsmouth Small Business Loan (PSB loan) to
small businesses in the city seeking to expand.
Funding for companies looking to develop business leadership
skills
Through its Leadership &
Management programme, Train to Gain is offering owner managers and
company directors the opportunity to apply for funding to help
develop business leadership skills.
