London Games 2012 :
Participation
Getting people into boating will be one of the most
important and enduring legacies of the forcoming Games. The
BMF already does much to encorage people to try boating, in its
various guises, through its 'On the Water' campaign. We will
continue to use this camapign to promote the pasttime during the
games and will work with the RYA to ensure maximum exposure
for marine activities.
The BMF will develop a number of
marketing campaigns (see the marketing section) that will give you
ideas like open days and participation events. In the meantime, you
can promote the work of 'On the Water' by downloading banners for
