Advanced composite materials with marine applications feature in
several existing collaborative projects, or in bids for funding for
new projects through the current Technology Strategy Board’s
Technology-Inspired Collaborative R&D Call. Expressions of
interest for this closed on 18 November with bids understood to
include marine businesses. Bids are now passing through the various
stages of the competition into the New Year and successful
consortia will be known by March.
